How do you tell your story, the version that only you know, and only you could live? We work with you to write your story not through words, but with form, shape, color, rhythm, light, and volume.
As your life is a compilation of intricately voluminous intertwined stories, your story is told through spaces. Travelling through linked rooms and corridors, outside spaces and pathways, we lay out your language. We co-design with you, the version you want to live.
In your spaces, precise details lure you in for investigation. Patterns juxtapose over another reflecting an image that brings memory to life. Open spaces fill with light and possibility. A textured and complex layered corner invites you in for a retreat. Following a spear of light slicing across the floor, you step onto a stone path through the worn wood threshold where inside and outside home merge.
You wind out into narrow openings that pull towards a meandering garden path, where critters mingle. Light shifts behind trees, shrubs, and again disappears to reveal new openings where you’re drawn to sit and be held in awe of the shifting, evolving seasons. Disarming yourself, flowers choreograph patterns through movement under branches. Stone pathways guide you gently through sounds, senses alert, into shadows and explosive new growth, eventually delivering you back into open space, undone.
Stepping back onto the rhytm of stone, you cross back across a new wood threshold. As you wind down rhythmic coridors, you catch crisp brass for side glimpses of textiles, layered with subtle contrasting humor and unpredictability. Curiosity holds tones together in your own curated gallery.
In a space where refined details deliver multitudes of emotion, unusually crafted wood moulding meets hand troweled plaster on the same plane where art replays a memory, stopping time. Multiple lives held in a glass cast vase distort light jutting through an opening. A distilled picture of many continents ago projects stories not yet told. Of life represented, a preservation of the present and future coincide, collide, coalesce.
Through the experience of ‘design’, as adventure travel guide, we hold an opportunity for you to live your life/lives through one multi storied line. Your story told through materials, textures, color, light, form, and rhythm. From inside to out, out to in, we curate moments, opportunities, ideas, hopes, emotion - whatever version you choose to tell, that’s yours to live.
